A really warm and friendly hotel; we really felt at home here. Our room was good size and was nice and peaceful. Accommodation was clean throughout and well equipped to meet our needs. Thoroughly enjoyed the meals here and portion sizes are very generous! The hotel is in a good location for exploring the sights that Durham has to offer. I would highly recommend it. - Sophieandco
The Royal Oak in was a great place to stay. The owners made us feel very welcome and the hotel had a lovely atmosphere. The meals were incredible with very generous portion sizes! Our room was a good size and very peaceful. The décor was tasteful and the bathroom was nice and spacious.
